Job summary

GardaWorld Security is hiring a Security Officer – Rover/Driver in Las Vegas, NV. You will drive a rover/golf cart for patrols, perform access control, and deliver customer service to clients on site.

You must be adaptable, write clear reports, and meet licensure requirements; CPR/AED certification is expected or obtainable within two weeks of offer. GardaWorld offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 1 year security experience in a fast-paced environment or equivalent Military/Law Enforcement.
• HS Diploma or GED required, higher degree preferred.
• PILB in hand or ability to obtain.
• CPR/AED certification to be current or obtained within 2 weeks of offer.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to clients.
• Observe, survey, and report activities at the site.
• Respond quickly to critical situations.
• Screen guests, employees, vendors, and other entrants; manage exit screening as well.
• Patrol grounds by car, golf cart, or on foot when needed.
• Issue appropriate badges at the facility and enforce client procedures.
• Read and write detailed reports clearly and accurately.
• Maintain and operate electronics used in security operations.
• Perform vehicle and equipment maintenance following proper procedures.
• Commit to CPR/AED certification within 2 weeks of offer if not already certified.

As a Security Officer – Response, your role will vary depending on the day and special event. Whether it’s customer service, patrols, or surveillance, we need you to adapt with agility and precision.

• Set schedule:
• Shift 1: PT Swing: 2pm to 10pm: Tuesday & Wedensday.
• Shift 2: Day: 6am-2pm: Thursday & Friday/Sunday & Monday.

Responsibilities For Response Security Guard

• Provide excellent customer service to our clients.
• Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site.
• Respond quickly to critical situations.
• You provide critical access control using screening guests, employees, vendors, and other guests. You would also screen people upon exiting.
• You provide extra security patrolling the grounds inside and outside of the facility by car, golf cart, and/or foot.
• You will be providing appropriate badges at the facility.
• You have excellent ability to read and write detailed reports.
• You are expected to enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards.
• You are proficient in working with electronics.
• You are able to maintain vehicles and other assigned equipment; and follow proper procedures.
• You are certified in the areas of CPR/AED or can obtain them after an offer within 2 weeks or less.

Qualifications For Response Security Guard

• You are able to multitask and work well under pressure.
• You are at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements.
• You have a valid driver's license.
• You have at least 1 year security experience in a fast-paced environment, or equal Military/Law Enforcement.
• You have a valid PILB in hand.
• You have a HS Diploma or GED in hand, or higher degree.
• You have, or can obtain, within 1 week a certification in CPR/AED.
• You are a U.S. Citizen or Naturalized.
