Allied Universal in San Diego, CA is seeking a Security Officer for Retail, Part Time, unarmed patrol. You will serve customers, tenants and mall staff, following site policies and emergency procedures.

This role offers flexible daytime and evening shifts with a pay rate of $22.50 per hour. Candidates should be at least 18, hold a high school diploma, and be able to pass background checks and a drug screen.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, retailers, and mall staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols throughout the shopping center, including common areas, parking facilities, exterior perimeter, and tenant areas as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity, property concerns, and policy violations, helping to deter unauthorized access, theft, and disruptive behavior.
• Complete accurate reports, maintain daily activity logs, and communicate observations and incidents to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
