Northwell Health is seeking a vigilant Security Guard for Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, NY. The role requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent, NYS Security Certification, and a NYS Driver's License; candidates should be prepared for heavy physical effort and routine patrols.

Under limited supervision, you will help maintain a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors. This is a full-time, on-site position in the Security department with competitive hourly pay.

JOB SUMMARY:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Graduate or Equivalent, NYS Security Certification, NYS Drivers License.

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Licensure/Registration/Certification: NYS Security Guard License (at a minimum, must have completed the 8 hour training course and submitted application for license), NYS Drivers License.

Working Conditions:

Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity

Occupational: Some occupational risk

Physical Effort: Very Heavy effort. May exert up to 50 lbs. force

Physical Environment: Significant exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
