Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer to protect clients across Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. You will provide customer service while enforcing safety procedures and, when needed, emergency response.

Minimum requirements include a minimum of 2 years security experience, being at least 18 (21 for armed roles), a high school diploma or equivalent, and passing a background check and drug screen. Licensing may apply by state or locality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check and drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws; driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments may vary by client site.
