Job summary

Securitas, Inc. in West Valley City, UT is seeking a Corporate Center Security Officer to protect people and property across multiple shifts. The role involves patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe environment.

No experience is necessary, with training provided. Candidates should be at least 18, have a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and solid customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus.
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and vigilant throughout shift.
• Must able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and visitors from harm.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, and entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.
