Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer to protect clients across industries in a dynamic work environment. You will perform safety and security procedures, respond to incidents, and patrol sites to maintain a secure perimeter.

The role requires being 18+ (21+ for armed), a high school diploma or equivalent (or 5 years of verifiable experience), and passing background checks and drug screening where required. Healthcare, education, and commercial real estate sites are among the client base.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience may be considered in lieu of diploma
• Background check required by federal/state/local laws
• Drug screen required where permitted by law
• Licensing requirements may apply for certain positions

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; work environment varies by client site
