Securitas USA is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time shift at site location New London, WI. The role involves patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment.

The officer will uphold safety protocols, deter theft and security threats, and provide excellent customer service while coordinating with team members to protect personnel and assets.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, & entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.
• Control building access by verifying identification, checking credentials, and managing visitor logs.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, emergencies, and security incidents.
• Enforce security protocols, company rules, and regulations for premises, personnel, and visitors.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and security equipment to prevent unauthorized access.
• Investigate suspicious activities, behavior, and security breaches.
