Job summary

Weiser Security Services, Inc. in Louisiana is seeking a vigilant security officer to protect assets, personnel, customers and visitors across assigned sites. This role operates under the direct supervision of the Account Manager or Branch Manager and requires alertness and reliability.

Shifts available weekdays and weekends, 6 AM–2 PM and 2 PM–10 PM. Duties include observing, reporting disturbances, controlling access, preparing daily reports, and responding to emergencies as outlined in post

Qualifications

• Protect client assets, personnel, customers and visitors.
• Observe and report signs of crime or disturbances.
• Prepare daily activity reports and submit to contacts.
• Complete patrols and monitor access per post orders.
• Notify authorities during emergencies as outlined in post orders.
• There may be extended hours as required by the client.

Responsibilities

• Protect the interests of the client within the limits of the facility and to protect the lives and property of employees and visitors.
• Observe and report signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
• Prepare reports on a daily basis as trained and turn them into the proper contacts.
• Complete patrols as required by post orders
• Monitor and control access to property as required by post orders.
• Notify proper authorities in all cases of emergencies as outlined in the post orders.
• Report all violations of company policy and local and federal laws as stated in the Employee Handbook.
