Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer - Patrol Watch in Boise, ID. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide exceptional service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.

This is a Full Time role with a schedule of 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM across Mon-Sun, pay rate $19.00 per hour. You will document observations, respond to incidents, and coordinate with site leadership and client representatives.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted per laws.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergencies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, offices, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and report unusual activity to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations and actions.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and patrol logs and communicate with leadership and client representatives.

• Thur: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology facilities, offices, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed, and report unusual activity, access issues, or policy violations to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and documenting observations and actions taken.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
