Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company in Newton, MS, is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Security Screening. You will perform patrols, assist with access control, and deliver excellent customer service at client sites.

The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to learn our shift-claim platform. Pay is $16.25 per hour, with a schedule that includes Night shifts and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with customer service and security-related procedures is preferred.
• Ability to operate a computer or tablet is preferred.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a logistics location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control and incident reporting, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 lbs.
• X‑Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
