Salamander Palm Beach Employer in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is seeking a Security Officer to guard property, monitor access, and respond to emergencies. The role reports to Security Director and requires vigilance and professionalism.

You will patrol buildings and grounds, inspect doors and equipment, write clear incident reports, and maintain safety and order for the site. Florida state requirements must be met and prior security experience is preferred.

Formación

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write clear reports and maintain documentation.
• Ability to present information effectively to groups of managers and the public.
• Prior security, military or law enforcement experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Patrols buildings and grounds on a regular basis.
• Examine doors, windows and gates for security.
• Warn violators and expel suspicious individuals as needed.
• Inspect equipment to detect tampering.
• Monitor for fire hazards and other safety issues.
• Observe staff to prevent theft of company property.
• Sound alarms and contact police or fire departments when needed.
• Record inspection times and log events and incidents.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian traffic at entry points.
• Promote good rapport with owners and visitors.
• Work flexible day/evening/night shifts, weekends and holidays.
