Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Operations in San Bernardino, CA. As an unarmed patrol officer at a logistics location, you will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

This full-time role includes day and night shifts with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour. You will monitor access, respond to incidents, and help ensure a safe, welcoming environment across our sites.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required by policy.

As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, warehouse areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and driver activity, and directing authorized individuals in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required incident documentation.
• Observe loading docks, trailer yards, and shipping and receiving activity for unusual conditions, policy violations, or hazards, and report concerns through established channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
