Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Observation in Canton, MS. You will provide security services, patrol designated areas, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents at a technology-focused location.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, responding to alarms, documenting activities, and delivering excellent customer service to employees and visitors. Must meet minimum age and education requirements and pass background and drug screenings.

Competenze

• CPR Certification is preferred.
• X-Ray Screening Experience is preferred.
• Lift More Than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior workspaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and reporting access-control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and shift activities accurately and promptly using required reporting tools and procedures.
