Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, notifying appropriate campus personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, residence halls, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence.

Job Schedule:

• Wed 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM
• Fri 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, residence halls, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence in an educational environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
