Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns and critical situations calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and support entry procedures for visitors, contractors, and drivers.

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, loading areas, employee entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery-driver entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
