Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure to guard against theft.
• Circulate among visitors to preserve order and protect property.
• Guard, patrol, and monitor premises to prevent hazards, theft, violence, or rule infractions.
• Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and respond to emergencies requiring security assistance.
• Escort on foot or by motor vehicle to transport individuals or provide personal protection.
• Write detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs).
• Provide courteous assistance to customers, employees, and visitors.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual activity.
• Secure facility and designated areas.
• Enforce facility and company policies and procedures.
• Investigate and prepare reports on incidents.
