Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Patrol Driver - Overnights in Rochelle, IL to provide security and customer service at a food and beverage location. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents, while upholding Allied Universal’s values of integrity and teamwork.

This full-time, overnight driving role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma, and ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background investigation will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• A drug screen will be required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Job Description

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver - Overnights in Rochelle, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout interior and exterior areas, including business operations, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized activity or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
