Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Mount Morris, MI. In this role you will perform unarmed patrols, monitor entry points, and respond to incidents at a hightech location.

You will engage employees, visitors, and contractors with professional service and maintain safety standards. The position emphasizes driving duties, adherence to site procedures, and accurate reporting, with a schedule including evening shifts and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and communicate observations to site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, unusual activity, and security-related concerns.

Security Officer Patrol Driver in Mount Morris, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor interactions. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
