Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Hazelwood, MO. You will patrol facilities, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and a flexible schedule. Pay is $18.19 per hour for a full-time position with day and evening shifts. Applicants may undergo background checks and drug testing as per policy.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access concerns or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete incident reports according to site requirements.
• Maintain awareness of changing conditions throughout the location and communicate relevant security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
