Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver for its Flagstaff, AZ location. The role involves conducting routine unarmed patrols at a manufacturing/industrial site, monitoring access points, and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents. You will deliver strong customer service and communicate clearly with staff and visitors.

The position is full-time with a pay rate of $22.00 per hour. Schedule includes daytime and overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial buildings, production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, contractor, and employee credentials in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities through accurate reports and logs.

What You\'ll Do

• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities through accurate reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
