Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment at client sites in the Denver area, including Aurora, CO. The role involves monitoring premises, access control, patrolling, and upholding post orders with a strong emphasis on customer service.

Ideal candidates are at least 18, possess a high school diploma or GED, and can demonstrate calm composure under pressure, attention to detail, and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18 years or older.
• Above average computer/technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant during shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and escalation.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client's employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
