River Edge Behavioral Health in Macon, GA is seeking a Security Officer to help protect patients, staff and property. You will patrol, monitor surveillance, perform inspections and respond to codes to de-escalate crises. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, being 21+, and prior security experience is preferred. The schedule at 175 Emery Highway includes shifts Mon/Tue/Thu 12:00pm-8:00pm and Wed/Fri 9:00am-5:00pm.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Guard, patrol, and monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, and rule infractions.
• Secure facilities during emergencies such as fires or natural disasters.
• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Escort or transport individuals as needed and provide protection.
• Inspect facilities for fire, safety, and environmental hazards.
