Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel and visitors.
• Complete daily activity reports and communicate information to leadership and site representatives.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist with access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.36 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel and visitors in accordance with site-specific access requirements.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
