Job summary

St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to cover shifts in the Tallahassee/Pensacola area. The role focuses on patrolling assigned zones, maintaining a professional presence, and delivering quality client service.

The position requires a Florida Class D license, reliable transportation, and a high school diploma or GED. Training is provided, with a pay rate of $16.50 per hour and a schedule including multiple shift times.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Class D Security License.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of security experience preferred.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned areas for suspicious activity and violations of client policies.
• Report incidents, accidents, and medical emergencies promptly and accurately.
• Respond to emergencies per established procedures (medical, fire alarms, intrusions, bomb threats).
• Maintain a visible security presence and enforce client rules.
• Arrive on time and complete all shifts, including overtime when required.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and wear the uniform properly.
• Provide excellent customer service with a professional demeanor.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Carry out all post orders, policies, and procedures.

1500-2300 Wed, Thursday, Saturday

2300-0700 Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

Pay: $16.50 per hour
