Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time on weekends in Eau Claire, WI. In this role you will serve clients across manufacturing and industrial sites, conduct patrols, monitor access, verify credentials, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding Allied Universal’s values.

You will work Sat 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM and Sun 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM, with a flexible schedule through our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Background histories considered consistent with laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers while carrying out site-specific procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, offices, parking areas, access points, and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access, verify credentials, maintain logs, and report unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following emergency procedures.
• Document observations and patrols in reports and communicate with leadership and site contacts.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate clearly, and deliver exceptional customer service while embodying Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized activity or access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
