As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the job state and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, delivery drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.


• Monitor access points at a retail distribution location, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, maintain entry records, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.


• Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures; report access concerns, damaged barriers, or unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.


• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, vehicle gates, exterior areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
