Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or employees at a commercial real estate location while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access concerns in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking, loading, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting maintenance issues and policy violations.
• Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information.

As a Security Officer Part Time Vehicle Patrol Driver in Waco, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.84 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or employees at a commercial real estate location while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting maintenance issues, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
