Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver) in Atlanta, GA. You will provide courteous security services, patrol government locations, monitor access, and respond to incidents while maintaining a professional presence.

This role offers flexible scheduling, a pay rate of $17.50 per hour, and opportunities to learn through our Shift-claim platform. You’ll join a team committed to service, integrity, and customer safety in a dynamic environment.

Formación

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen per policy.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned government buildings, public areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and direct individuals to appropriate offices or public-service areas.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in accordance with site requirements, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and designated personnel.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
