Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol in Temple, PA. You will drive routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers and staff.

Schedule includes Tue and Wed 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM; pay rate is $17.00 per hour, with eligibility for additional shifts via the Claim a Shift platform. The role requires a valid driver’s license, at least 18 years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and

  • All candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements. This is essential for roles that require driving as part of the job responsibilities.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and report observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and documentation of incidents and security-related activities in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
