Pay Rate: $23.36 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and personnel at a technology infrastructure location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, access points, parking areas, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and reports in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Communicate clearly with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and responding agencies while documenting observations, incidents, and actions taken.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
