Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) for a mobility role in Reynoldsburg, OH. You will conduct patrols at a retail site, maintain a visible presence, and support staff and customers while driving duties are involved with a valid license.

The schedule is Mon-Wed 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, a background check, and a drug screen.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, stock areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, potential loss-prevention concerns, and policy violations, helping to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
