Allied Universal in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer to guard a financial institution location. You will monitor access points, patrol areas, provide customer service to employees and visitors, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and report unauthorized access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
