Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in Culver City, CA. You will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and provide exceptional customer service while documenting activities using computer tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel following site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the healthcare services location including interiors and exterior areas.
• Monitor access points, report unusual conditions, deter unauthorized entry and suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and in line with site protocols.
• Document patrols and incidents and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will use computer or tablet tools to document security-related activities while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.32 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare services location, including building interiors, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
