Job summary

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet.
• A guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicant will be subject to a background investigation as per laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner per reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, documenting incidents and maintenance concerns for follow-up.
• Maintain a professional presence and communicate clearly with property personnel, tenants, visitors, and emergency responders as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, documenting incidents, maintenance concerns, and unusual conditions for appropriate follow-up.
• Maintain a professional presence while communicating clearly with property personnel, tenants, visitors, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
