Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a financial institution, following site procedures and emergency protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization, and maintain logs and incident reports.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; escalate when needed.
• Report unusual activity or hazards to site leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain awareness of financial institution operations and report unusual activity, facility hazards, or policy violations to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess an Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
