Job summary

Allied Universal in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time, Unarmed Mobile Driver) to support a financial institution. You will perform security patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service.

The role requires at least 2 years of security experience, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma. A background check and drug screen are required where permitted by law. Shifts are Wed/Thu/Sun 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted.
• Allied Universal will consider applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for customers and staff.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
