Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and other locations.
• Monitor and report security-related incidents, hazards, damaged equipment, and unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation per Allied Universal and site requirements.

Job Schedule:

• Thu: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at utility facilities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor and report security-related incidents, hazards, damaged equipment, and/or unauthorized access concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
