Allied Universal in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a part-time unarmed Security Officer to protect clients at a financial institution. You will patrol, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Job Schedule:

• Thur - 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM
• Fri - 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sat - 08:30 AM - 02:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within and around the location, reporting suspicious activity, unauthorized access attempts, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
