Allied Universal in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer to protect clients across various locations including Retail/Malls. You will play a key role in maintaining a welcoming environment, patrolling the site, and responding to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the retail location including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Observe and report unusual activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner and document observations accurately.
• Help deter theft and unauthorized access through a visible presence and adherence to site procedures.

• Sat 04:00 PM - 09:15 PM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 09:15 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Observe and report unusual activity, potential policy violations, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and document observations accurately.
• Help to deter theft, unauthorized access, and disruptive behavior through a visible presence and adherence to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
