Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer with TWIC in Alvin, TX to deliver dependable security coverage at the assigned site. The role supports reliable, flexible hours and opportunities to earn more by picking up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $16.50 per hour with a fixed shift and an option to scale to additional shifts, providing income stability and a pathway toward full-time opportunities within a leading North American security and facility

Qualifications

• TWIC required.
• Guard card and/or license preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required before employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including events involving chemical or petrochemical operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, access points and perimeter; environments may vary by location.

As a Security Officer Part Time TWIC in Alvin, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
