Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by federal, state and local laws.
• Consent to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, issue passes, and maintain entry/exit records.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate as needed to site contacts/leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned healthcare facility areas and the perimeter, reporting access-control concerns, unsecured doors, and unusual activity.
• Help to deter unauthorized access to restricted clinical, administrative, and pharmacy-related areas while maintaining a professional and welcoming presence.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
