Job summary

Allied Universal in Dunn, NC is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver for a part-time position, with Saturday and Sunday night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM at a retail distribution location. You will provide customer service, monitor security, and protect employees and assets.

Responsibilities include patrolling, access verification, incident response, and detailed logging of findings. Required are a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma; background and drug screenings apply

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen will be conducted to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and required information to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization for personnel and vehicles as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Observe shipping and receiving activity, report irregularities, and support site procedures related to visitor, contractor, and delivery access.

What You'll Do
