Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Roving Patrol in Warren, OH. You will serve and safeguard clients across tech/telecom locations, by patrolling, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering exceptional customer service.

This role offers a Part Time schedule with pay at $18 per hour. You’ll handle access control, incident responses, reports, and shift handoffs while following site policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and facility concerns.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and security-related equipment, documenting observations and escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
