Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer in Joplin, Missouri. You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries including Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more, delivering dependable security services on site. Pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

No prior experience? No problem — we’ll train you and help you acquire a security license. You must be able to walk and stand for long periods and be comfortable using computers or tablets to report incidents and

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws; qualified applicants with criminal histories may be considered
• Background check and drug screen required where permitted by law; licensing requirements depend on state/local laws
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universalwill consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
