Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail employees by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail areas and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed by site protocols.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicating professionally with store personnel and leadership.

Pay Rate

$19.00 - $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Mon: 04:00 PM - 09:00 PM


• Thur: 04:00 PM - 09:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (\"Anchor Shifts\"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.


• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail sales areas, common areas, entrances, exits, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.


• Monitor access points, observe customer and visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, property concerns, or policy violations according to site procedures.


• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site protocols.


• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with store personnel, mall management, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
