Allied Universal in Bedminster, NJ is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Loss Prevention Patrol. This role provides reliable, flexible hours with fixed shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $17.00 per hour, with a schedule including the DayTime shift and a fixed anchor schedule. This position supports site procedures and professional security operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of security experience.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing may be required by state/local law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecom location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, and perimeter.
• Monitor access and verify visitor/contractor authorization per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; assist with emergency response as directed.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts and leadership; escalate concerns as needed.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Loss Prevention Patrol in BEDMINSTER, NJ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate entry and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and support emergency response activities as directed.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, escalating security‑related concerns and following established reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
