Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Overnight Armed Security Officer in West Palm Beach, FL. You will provide security services across campus locations, maintaining a visible presence and responding to incidents with professionalism.

Responsibilities include armed patrols, credential verification, and incident reporting. Minimum requirements include CPO certification, armed guard card, and a criminal-justice-related degree or coursework.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.75 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as required, reporting suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with campus representatives, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a CPO certification.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, military and/or criminal justice degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
