Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) for our Bristol, IN location. You will provide customer service, monitor and patrol assigned areas, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible security presence.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and document observations.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of office areas, parking, loading zones, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry/exit, verify visitor access, and provide directions as needed.
• Complete reports and maintain logs, sharing information with leadership and site contacts.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and contractor access according to site requirements, and provide directions or assistance as needed.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate relevant information with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
