Job summary

Allied Universal in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Mobile Response Driver. The role guards facilities, serves as a visible security presence, and drives to respond to incidents at healthcare sites.

You will perform access control, patrols, and reporting while delivering customer service to employees and visitors. The position requires 6 months of security experience, a valid driver's license, and compliance with background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Support a professional, orderly environment by communicating clearly with site contacts and following established protocols for restricted areas and sensitive operations.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 01:30 PM - 09:30 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
