Allied Universal®—North America’s leading security and facility services company—seeks a Part Time Security Officer in Northampton, PA. You will provide customer service, patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and maintain a welcoming environment for employees and visitors while supporting the site with professional security coverage.

This role offers part-time hours, weekend availability, and opportunities to grow through Allied Universal’s training and career programs.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required; driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service and carry out security procedures at a logistics and distribution facility.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor location access and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel.
• Document incidents and daily activities and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
